The Hauntings of Prince Edward is the first Multi-Media story I wrote, and it was also my introduction to local history. My muse while at college became, through this piece, sharing with my peers the stories of our surroundings. The full piece can be found at the link attached to the graphic.

This research stemmed from Mean World Syndrome which roughly is the idea that a negative outlook on the world leads one to believe the world is scarier than in reality. My research partner and I further defined this point to examine young women's perceptions of safety, in general and in the dating world specifically.

For this analysis, myself and two of my peers compared Jane the Virgin and Juana la Virgen by points of Narrative Structure. These programs are based on similar premises and characters as the American version stemmed from te Venezuelan program. In this report, we use data collected to compare how similar the stories are in a narrative sense.

I helped to create this news script that discusses the development of a new solar energy plant in central Virginia. This script follows the template of those used in television news programs, including time stamps, cues, and lower third information.
